high waist wide leg pants

I recently saw on Pinterest a growing trend for high waist wide leg pants and was so happy to find these pants online.  I used to wear wide leg pants that were purchased from Express itself many years ago. One day, I accidentally used burning hot iron on them and burnt the flared bottom. My talented fashion designer sister Sumita Bhojwani salvaged those pants for me and now they are flared capris :).

I think high waist gives a instant height factor to small height people like me. I am 5′ 2.5″ so high waist in pants adds a height in my overall look and flared bottom makes it more stylish.

The fabric of pants is super soft and flowing with gorgeous bright navy blue color. As you know from my last post when I was posing in my black dress, it started to rain and I ended up driving with my sister to Tampa bay marina and weather could not be any more gorgeous. I bought only Blue color and now thinking about getting one in black as well.

The Pants are long for me, so small length fit me great with 3-inch heels. Pants and top are on BOGO 50%  and I used 15$ off coupon from retail me not. I always find coupons from retailmenot.com and it has not disappointed me yet.  

I paired these pants with zip front express top that has a silky and breathable fabric in XS as it runs little large.

Do you have a favorite tagline for your outfits?

I call this outfit as my “happy outfit” because that’s what I feel regardless of my mood. Its an instant mood elevator for me.  What about you guys? would love to know
